LGBTQ+ Activist Larry Kramer, and my sister, Kelsey.

One of my first jobs was making balloon animals at children’s parties.
Advice for new students:
Make friends. Law school is hard, but it’s a LOT more enjoyable when you can talk to people going through the same experience.

Personal Injury
Who are your role models:
My grandparents have always been my role models, inspiring me with the way they lead their lives. My grandfather, as an attorney, has set a powerful example of integrity, dedication, and a strong sense of justice. I aim to follow his example in my career. My grandparents have demonstrated the importance of hard work, resilience, and compassion. I strive to live up to the example they have set.
Please share a fun fact about yourself:
Before ultimately deciding to go to law school, I considered becoming an FBI intelligence analyst.
Advice for new students:
My advice is to embrace every opportunity that comes your way, whether it’s an academic challenge, a club activity, or a social event. These experiences will help you discover new interests, skills, professional connections, and friendships. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone; you never know where it might take you.

My mother, Michelle Obama, and Thurgood Marshall.
Please share a fun fact about yourself:
I was a shot putter and hammer thrower in college.
Advice for new students:
Don’t procrastinate and find a solid group of friends to study and hang out with. Also have a life outside law school so you don’t get burnt out.

Family Law, Tort Law, & Trust and Estates Law
Who are your role models:
My mom because she taught me that I can achieve my goals as long as I believe in myself and put in the extra effort of becoming who I want to be.
Please share a fun fact about yourself:
I currently attend law school with my husband.
Advice for new students:
If you have time to get ahead on your reading, do it because there will come a day when you might feel overwhelmed and that extra week of reading you did will save you from falling behind. Also, pay your professors a visit during office hours.

Find a group of friends to go through school with. Friends in school will be the most understanding of the path that you are on and can be some of the best support.
