On February 27, 2025, Western State College of Law hosted its first Alumni Mixer of the year at Prego Restaurant in Tustin, CA! The mixer brought together graduates from different cohorts, blending recent alumni with seasoned professionals, all in a warm and inviting setting that felt much like a family reunion. Notably, alumni from every decade since the college’s inception were represented, showcasing the enduring connection and legacy of Western State. About 100 attendees enjoyed food and drinks while catching up with old friends and making new ones.
Notable guests included District Attorney of Imperial County, George Marquez, Class of 2005, further highlighting the impressive accomplishments of Western State graduates. Professors and staff also attended, strengthening the bonds formed between faculty and their former students over the years.
A huge thank you to the dedicated staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event successful. Their efforts are what made the night possible, allowing the Western State community to build meaningful connections, enjoy delicious food, and share a sense of pride in being part of the Western State family.
Events like these remind us that Western State is more than just a law school. It’s a lifelong community with connections that last far beyond our time here. We are looking forward to hosting the next Alumni Mixer. Stay tuned!
