Western State alumnus Casey Yontz (Class of 2006) was recently featured in national media for his expertise on student loans and bankruptcy. A bankruptcy attorney and founder of USBankruptcyHelp.com, he was quoted by U.S. News & World Report in an article examining student loan disability discharge. He was also quoted in a MoneyLion article, syndicated by AOL, discussing student loan discharge, differences between federal and private loan protections, and default. Through his legal practice and educational work, Yontz helps make complex issues surrounding bankruptcy, consumer debt, and student loans more accessible to the public.
