We are thrilled to share a remarkable milestone: Western State College of Law achieved an 88.2% first-time taker bar exam pass rate—the highest among California schools with reportable data on the February 2025 exam. This accomplishment is a testament to the determination and talent of our students. It also reflects the dedication of our faculty, and the continued growth of our academic programs.
Passing the California Bar is an extraordinary challenge, and our students rose to meet it. In doing so, they demonstrated the mastery of the law, resilience, work ethic, and grit that define Western State graduates. Their success reflects the supportive community and rigorous preparation that are hallmarks of the Western State experience.
Dean Marisa Cianciarulo shares, “This achievement underscores what we have long believed: when you combine student determination with a faculty deeply invested in their success, incredible things can happen. Our students are writing a new chapter for Western State, and I couldn’t be prouder of their commitment and perseverance.”
As Western State continues to rise, this record-setting bar pass rate affirms our mission: to empower students from all backgrounds to reach their fullest potential and make a lasting impact in the legal community. Congratulations to our newest alumni; your success is our inspiration.
