Western State College of Law Professor Tania Shah has been selected to serve a four-year term on the State Bar of California’s Law School Council (LSC), beginning October 1, 2026. The LSC works with the Committee of Bar Examiners on matters affecting ABA-approved law schools and legal education in California, including issues related to admission to the California Bar. The current council includes representatives from UC Davis, Loyola, UC Irvine, California Western School of Law, University of the Pacific, and now Western State College of Law. Through her appointment, Shah will represent Western State and contribute to statewide conversations affecting California law schools and their students. Western State congratulates Shah on this important appointment and looks forward to her service on the council.
