Professor Tania Shah’s article, “Though They Be but Young, They Are Fierce: Generation Z Is Leading the Way Toward a New Model of Corporate Lawyering,” was recently published in the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial & Commercial Law. In the article, Professor Shah examines how Generation Z lawyers are entering the profession at a time when corporate governance, stakeholder capitalism, ESG principles, and benefit corporations are reshaping traditional ideas of corporate purpose. She argues that Gen Z attorneys are well positioned to help guide this shift, bringing new perspectives on corporate purpose while addressing the ethical and structural challenges facing the next generation of corporate counsel.
Western State congratulates Professor Shah on this publication and her continued contributions to legal scholarship. Read her article here.
