BIOGRAPHY

Believing strongly in the power that legal education can make in a person’s life, Professor Eggleston has been involved in helping people understand the law for over 20 years. Prior to coming to Western State, she worked as a law librarian / library director in various legal settings including the Los Angeles County Law Library, the law firms of Sidley Austin, Brobeck, and Paul Hastings, as well as the Riverside County Law Library. In 2011, she joined Western State where she worked as the Library Director and an Assistant Professor of Law. During that time, in addition to the library’s research classes, she taught Solving Legal Problems and Honors Writing, aimed at helping students build their legal writing skill set. In her current role as the Director of the Master of Legal Studies program, Professor Eggleston still teaches Honors Writing, but she also brings all of her expertise together in developing and managing the fully online masters’ program specializing in healthcare compliance.

Professor Eggleston received her J.D. from Whittier Law School in 2009. In addition to her law degree, she holds a Masters in Library Science from Southern Connecticut State University (1993) and a Master of Instructional Design and Technology (2020) from Cal State Fullerton. She is currently finishing up her PhD in Education from the University of Arizona where she is expected to graduate in 2026.
