Western State University College of Law entered two teams in the California State Bar's Student Environmental Negotiation Competition held at UCLA on Saturday, March 23rd. In all, 26 teams from 16 California law schools participated, including all of the UC Schools.
Team one was comprised of Ghazal Youssefi and Karenina Lines. They received very positive comments from the judges about their preparation, knowledge of the facts, and strategy, and won both of the preliminary rounds they competed in.
Team two was made up of Christina Wickers and Amy Danielyan. They too did very well in the preliminary rounds in the morning and advanced to the afternoon's final four along with UC Hastings, UC Davis and Loyola. Christina & Amy placed second.
Congratulations to both teams on your hard work and success! Also congrats to their coach, Professor Paul Smith. Western State is very proud of you!
