Western State University College of Law is proud to announce that 77 percent of its first-time test takers passed the July 2011 California Bar exam, as reported to the College of Law in preliminary unofficial results.  This exceeds California's statewide average of 76% reported for first-time passers for all ABA law schools on this exam.  Many congratulations go out to our recent grads!  The WSU community is extremely proud of you!

In keeping with Western State tradition in recent years, many of these successful graduates were sworn in as members of the California Bar by Orange County Superior Court Judge Francisco Firmat (WSU Class of 1976).  The Dean, law faculty and administrators joined family and friends to witness the swearing-in ceremony on December 1, 2011 and celebrate their accomplishment.
