Their presentation, entitled “Developing Students’ Identities as Legal Apprentices,” focuses on how law students should begin to think of themselves as practicing attorneys, beginning from their first year of law school. By introducing students to “real” lawyers and judges, through various interactions both on campus and in the courtroom, students develop a “practice-ready” approach to law school, and are better equipped to face the challenges of a career in the law.
