About Our Alumni

Western State is proud of its more than 11,000 graduates who have distinguished themselves as judges, public officials, and lawyers, both in private practice and in positions in which their law degrees enhance their professional competence. Our alumni serve the legal community in many different capacities, including serving as presidents and officers of local, statewide, and national bar organizations.

Our alumni return to Western State to give of their time to encourage students and help them further their legal education. Western State alumni remain a strong presence and can be spotted on campus throughout the year. Whether Chairing the Western State Disability Law Moot Court Competition, serving as speakers during commencement exercises, judging in the school’s various moot court competitions, speaking at organization events and career related workshops on campus, serving as mentors, sharing their expertise and insight of their legal practice in Continuing Legal Education seminars, or officiating at Western State's Bar Candidate Swearing-in Ceremony, our alumni lead our students by example.
