Meet admissions staff

The Admissions Department at Western State University College of Law is committed to providing prospective students with friendly, personalized, helpful service.

Each applicant is assigned to one of our Admission Advisors, who works closely with the applicant and is available to answer questions and facilitate the application process. We encourage prospective students to have their advisor arrange a visit to the campus for a personal interview, take a tour, sit in on a class and meet some of our wonderful faculty and students.

Meet our knowledgeable Assistant Directors of Admission:

Rhonda Cohen is a graduate of Western State University College of Law. She also holds a Masters in School Counseling and a Masters in Political Science and has worked in education for most of her professional life. Born in New York City, she moved to Orange County 30 years ago for law school and has been a local resident ever since. She is well placed to help incoming students address questions about relocating and housing options in the area.

Janna Noyes served as Western State’s Assistant Director of Career Services, advising students and working with legal employers and alumni, before joining the Admissions staff. Born and raised in Southern California, she is a graduate of CSU San Bernardino with a dual major in Psychology and Human Development.

Genevieve McManus has a background in counseling as well as law and great enthusiasm for using her professional and educational experiences towards helping students. A New York native, Genevieve earned a J.D. degree and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Utah. She practiced law in Utah for several years, and has worked in both the legal and social services professions in California, New York and Pennsylvania.
