Mission statement

The mission of the Western State College of Law Institute for Global Law and Policy is to enhance legal and policy discourse related to global issues by promoting faculty research and activity, hosting distinguished speakers on campus, and collaborating with other academic institutions.

Description

The Institute for Global Law and Policy seeks to add new value to the law and policy discourse relevant to a range of nations around the world. The Research Institute does so by conducting and publishing research into these areas and speaking at the law school and beyond about our findings. Additionally, the Institute invites distinguished speakers who, as the Institute itself, provide up-to-date insight to our students and the local legal community on cutting-edge issues of global law. We value both traditional and new viewpoints and strive to not only create or add to existing theories, but also to produce workable solutions to the problems we address.

  • • Meet and network with faculty members, current students and alumni
