Certificated Course of Study

The centerpiece of the CLPC is the Certificate in Criminal Law Studies. Students complete the requirements for the certificate by concentrating on criminal law and advocacy in their upper-division elective courses. These electives range from advanced courses in criminal trial practice, criminal procedure, criminal evidence, and criminal appellate advocacy to seminars on domestic violence, the death penalty, and criminal justice ethics.
