Beyond The Traditional Curriculum
The Criminal Law Practice Center further enriches the education and experience of WSU students by providing opportunities to learn about the criminal law beyond the traditional law school curriculum and beyond the physical boundaries of the campus. Through our Distinguished Lecture series, Brown Bag Lunches and work-shops, the CLPC brings together legal scholars, judges, practicing criminal defense attorneys, prosecutors, legislators, law enforcement officers, and community leaders to share their experience and diverse perspectives on contemporary criminal law issues with WSU students. Through regular field trips to destinations such as correctional facilities, crime labs, the morgue, criminal courtrooms and elsewhere, the Center exposes students to the many facets of the criminal justice system.
